{"id":3512,"date":"2026-06-23T18:28:04","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T16:28:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sport.polimi.it\/?p=3512"},"modified":"2026-07-21T17:43:53","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T15:43:53","slug":"olympic-day-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sport.polimi.it\/en\/olympic-day-26\/","title":{"rendered":"Olympic Day 26"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>23 June<\/strong>, Politecnico di Milano celebrated <strong>Olympic Day<\/strong>, a full day dedicated to sport, physical activity, and well-being, bringing together students, faculty, and staff through a wide range of free activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the occasion, participants had the opportunity to join a variety of <strong>masterclasses<\/strong>, enjoy free access to the University&#8217;s sports facilities, and take part in activities organised across the Milan campuses and the University&#8217;s territorial campuses. From <strong>Pilates<\/strong> and <strong>yoga<\/strong> to <strong>Brazilian Jiu Jitsu<\/strong> and <strong>team plogging<\/strong>, the event encouraged everyone to discover new sports, stay active, and share meaningful experiences with the University community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Held as part of the global initiative promoted by the <strong>International Olympic Committee (IOC)<\/strong> to celebrate the values of sport, Olympic Day once again highlighted Politecnico di Milano&#8217;s commitment to fostering an active lifestyle and making sport accessible to its entire community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this day of energy, inclusion, and sport such a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
