The value of sport for the Politecnico
The Politecnico believes in the value of sport as an integral part of campus life for students and staff, and promotes it as a means of fostering personal well-being, development, and maturity at both individual and social levels while supporting individual education and professional growth.
Furthermore, sport fosters social connection, strengthens the sense of belonging, stimulates competition, and boosts self-esteem.
To this end, it encourages members of its community to engage in sports activities and organizes local sports initiatives.

The sports offering
Politecnico di Milano’s sports offering is extremely diverse and encompasses numerous areas of interest, catering to a wide range of target audiences.
Facilities
Sports facilities managed by the university, accessible to students and staff at discounted rates, but open to everyone.
Ongoing activities
Medium- or long-duration sports activities consisting of a series of closely spaced sessions. They are primarily aimed at an internal audience (with the exception of courses).
Events
Sports events concentrated into one or a few days that involve the local community.
