The heart of sport at the Politecnico di Milano. With over 36,000 square meters dedicated to athletic activity, the Giuriati Sports Center features indoor courts, gyms, outdoor areas, and spaces for training and events. It is a historic venue that has undergone a major transformation in recent years and continues to grow with new state-of-the-art facilities, establishing itself as one of the city’s most comprehensive university sports hubs.
A modern space where sports, the campus, and the city come together. Located in the heart of Bovisa, Parco dei Gasometri offers courts for padel, 5-a-side football, and 3×3 basketball, as well as a calisthenics area and bocce courts, all within a unique setting designed to foster well-being, social interaction, and outdoor sports. It is a new landmark for the Polytechnic community and the local area.
A space dedicated to movement and sports training at the Bovisa Campus. Numerous courses and masterclasses take place here, offering the chance to explore various disciplines, train with qualified instructors, and share a passion for sport. Changing rooms and facilities are available to support these activities and can also be used by those visiting the campus to engage in sports independently.
A gym designed to support students, staff, and external users in their training journeys. Located within the Lecco Campus, the Fit Center offers dedicated areas for cardio fitness, strength training, and bodyweight exercises, helping to make sport an integral part of university life beyond the Milan campuses.
The most spontaneous and accessible sports spaces at the Politecnico. Located across the various campuses, the Playgrounds are free, always-open areas dedicated to basketball, volleyball, foosball, table tennis, and other activities open to everyone. They are informal spots where you can take an active break between classes, meet new people, and experience campus life through sport.
