It is a martial art and combat sport that integrates standing and ground-based grappling techniques, combining throws, joint locks, controlled strikes, and explosive movements.
It is based on a dynamic fusion of wrestling, judo, and combat sports, with a strong emphasis on balance, speed, functional strength, and strategy.
Combat Sambo develops coordination, power, and cardiovascular endurance, improving reaction time and body control in space.
Thanks to its practical and comprehensive approach, it also fosters the ability to handle close-quarters situations, helping to enhance body awareness, personal safety, and decisiveness in real-world self-defense scenarios.
