Parasports for All, the Politecnico di Milano event dedicated to sports and inclusion, returns for its third edition. This year, it features a new format focused on visual impairments.
At the Giuriati Sports Center, two days of opportunities to meet local organizations and try out activities open to everyone, united by the universal language of sports.
Friday, October 23, kicks off with the sixth edition of the workshop “Sports and Disabilities, on the Tip of a Foil—The World of Sports Looks to the Future”, an event conceived by the Accademia Scherma Milano and hosted this year by Parasports for All in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. The meeting will bring together athletes, organizations, and faculty members from the Politecnico to discuss inclusive projects and practices.
On Saturday, October 24, Parasports for All will host the “City of Milan” International Fencing Competition for the Blind, a competition organized by Accademia Scherma Milano that brings athletes from various countries to the Giuriati venue. Thanks to the associations GSD Non Vedenti Milano and Bionsait, participants will also have the opportunity to try blind running and blind tennis, experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be a visually impaired athlete.
