Ready to run?
The PolimiRun Kids is coming back on Saturday September 27th, the run organized by Politecnico di Milano open to all children from 1 to 13 years old!
How does it work? Groups will be created based on age and each group will be assigned a route of variable length, from 400 m to 2 km.
The race will take place at the Giuriati, the sports center of Politecnico di Milano, just a stone's throw from the Leonardo campus.
Before and after the race, you’ll find lots of fun surprises at the PolimiRun Milano 26 village, set up in the Leonardo campus in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci. We look forward to seeing you there!

Share a day of sports and fun with the little ones in the family, discovering Politecnico!
Registration is open to all children from 1 to 13 years old and must be completed by a parent/legal guardian.
The routes, differentiated by age, will be supervised and safe; it will be possible for an adult to accompany children up to 7 years old along the entire route free of charge.

HOW AND BY WHAT DATE CAN I REGISTER a child FOR the POLIMIRUN kids?
You can made a registration for the PolimiRun Kids by clicking on the buttom "REGISTRATION" above. The registrations must made by a parent or legal guardian. Registration will close on September 24, 2026 or till the sold out. In any case, the Organization reserves the right to close registrations in advance or to accept them after the closing date at its sole discretion.
WHERE, WHEN AND HOW CAN I PICK UP the KIT?
You can pick up the race kit on the same days, places, and times when the distribution of the PolimiRun Milano 2026 race kits will be active, namely:
- Campus Milano Bovisa La Masa, in the main square of the campus, near building B19: Wednesday, September 23, from 10 AM to 6 PM
- Campus Milano Leonardo, entrance from Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci, 36: Thursday, September 24, from 12 PM to 8 PM, Friday, September 25, from 10 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM
The race kit can only be picked up at the indicated locations, dates, and times.
Following registration, you received a confirmation email with a bib number. You must show this email when picking up the kit;
When collecting your kit, you will be given a t-shirt in the size selected during registration. The shirt cannot be exchanged under any circumstances. Therefore, we invite you to immediately check on-site that the size delivered by the staff is correct.
I DID NOT RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. WHAT CAN I DO?
If you have not received the confirmation email right after the registration to the PolimiRun Kids, try checking the SPAM folder and if you cannot find it there, write to eventi-sport@polimi.it and attach your payment receipt; we will send you a new confirmation email.
WHERE IS THE START AND AT WHAT TIME? HOW DOES THE STARTING WORK?
The race will be held at Giuriati, the sports center of Politecnico di Milano, just a stone's throw from the Leonardo campus. Groups will be created based on age and each group will be assigned a route suited to the age. The departure will start at 3 pm and work as follows:
- those born between 2025 and 2020 will run a 400 m course;
- those born between 2019 and 2017 will run a 800 m course;
- those born between 2016 and 2014 will run a 1500 m course;
- those born between 2013 and 2012 will run a 2000 m course.
Each of these groups will be divided into further heats in order to stagger the starts in groups of no more than 60 children.
All the specific information will be sent via e-mail in the days preceding the event.
In the PolimiRun Village there will be all the useful services and many activities dedicated to the little ones. On Saturday 24 May, the Village will be open from 10:00 am and the PolimiRun Kids race kit will be available for collection from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Just before the event, you will receive an email withall the necessary and definitive information about how to enter the Village and the Giuriati Sports Center, how the starting works and other useful information.
