Yes, a medical certificate is mandatory in order to participate in sports activities and to use memberships and masterclasses purchased. Exceptions are made for activities related to field rentals and the use of the athletics track via the purchase of daily passes.

For students and employees of Politecnico di Milano, the medical examination is included in the cost of the Basic subscription. Once the Basic subscription is purchased, you just need to contact the Giuriati Sports Center by email (giuriati@polimi.it) or phone (+39 02 2399 6427) to book your medical examination.

All other members must contact a sports medicine center or consult their general practitioner.

You must present a valid annual medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive or competitive sports activities, written in Italian. Any other type of certificate will not be accepted.

You can submit your medical certificate by sending it to giuriati@polimi.it or delivering it in person at the Giuriati Sports Center reception.

The Basic subscription is required to purchase any other type of subscription or service, as it provides insurance coverage for registered users.
For students and employees of Politecnico di Milano, the Basic subscription includes a free medical examination for the issue of the non-competitive sports fitness certificate.

To access the Fit Center and/or join the Platinum courses, you must have a Basic subscription, a valid medical certificate, and either a Gold membership (for Fit Center access) or a Platinum membership (for Fit Center access and Platinum courses participation).

A reservation is required for both the Fit Center time slot and/or the desired Platinum course.

Once you’ve purchased the Gold or Platinum membership, log in to your personal area via this link and click on Booking:

• Click on New Booking

• Select the calendar for the activity you want to book

• Choose the date and time slot or the desired course (blue = available, grey = full, green = your booking)

• Book and confirm.

In the Booking > Impegni section of your personal area, you’ll find all your confirmed bookings/activities. You can cancel any booking at least two hours before the scheduled time by clicking Cancel and confirming the cancellation.

Masterclasses are courses in various disciplines, taught by professional trainers, and held on the Bovisa, Leonardo, and Lecco campuses of Politecnico di Milano.
Each masterclass includes one lesson per week for the selected period:

• Annual: September to June
• 1st Cycle: September to December
• 2nd Cycle: January to February
• 3rd Cycle: February to June
• Summer: June to July

During registration, you must select the masterclass, day, and time you want to attend. Once registered, you can only attend that specific class. To attend multiple weekly classes of the same discipline, you must register for multiple masterclasses.

Yes, to attend a trial lesson you must:

• Have a Basic membership (only if you are a Politecnico student or employee)

• Provide a valid non-competitive medical certificate

• Arrange the day and time in advance so the trainer can be notified

The course must have available spots; if it’s full, a trial is not possible. To check availability and schedule a trial, contact the Giuriati Sports Center reception at +39 02 2399 6427 or giuriati@polimi.it.

To register for an annual masterclass, visit the reception of the Giuriati Sports Center or the Gasometri Park, call +39 02 2399 6427, or email giuriati@polimi.it to request online payment authorization.

If you know you will miss a masterclass lesson, report your absence (at least three hours before the start) via the Booking section in your personal area.
Once reported, the system will show available activities and allow you to book a catch-up class.
Catch-up lessons are only available to users with an annual masterclass registration, and must be completed within the current season.

Masterclasses are fixed, weekly courses that you attend over a medium to long period. Once registered, you do not need to book each individual lesson.

Platinum courses are included in the Platinum membership, and each lesson requires booking in advance.

• Select the field you want to book via the dropdown menu (Padel, 5-a-side Football, Volleyball)
• Choose the day via the calendar
• Select the desired time (white = available, grey = booked, blue = your booking)
• Confirm and proceed with payment.

You must register on Playtomic and pay online to complete the booking.

You can cancel directly via Playtomic at least 8 hours before the start time. The paid amount will be refunded by Playtomic within 10 working days.

No, you can also book a field directly at the Reception and pay the full amount. However, unlike Playtomic, cancellations will not result in a refund but in a voucher of the same value, which you can use for another booking at any location.
